Great Keyword Tools.
diary of an seo virgin, entrecard credits, google ranking, hittail, how to increase traffic to your site, improve ppc campaigns, organic traffic, search analytics too Monday, June 23, 2008I came across a great keyword tool for those long tail keywords that would help boost our seo in general. Hittail is one of them and there is also another one you may want to use for your ppc campaigns to get the better traffic organically through the search engines.
We all want to get organic traffic so how do we get traffic to our sites? A good way is to use long tail keywords. Ah the other search analytics tool is also great if you want to try each one in turn and see what results you may pick up. In any case you should see traffic increases to your sites using these two tools. I will be looking at more tools and wdgets as we go along. I am also not doing badly with entrecard as it is bringing me some more traffic and I have also nocked up over 1,500 credits in just a few days. I also was amazed to receive 144 credits for being the first to comment on someone's blog. That was really nice!

Also another keyword research tool we can use for are free tools from search engines like Google Adwords:Keyword tool and Yahoo keyword selector tool.

Good advice about traffic. Actually aside from seo, i have been thinking about building quality traffic...traffic that moves around the blog and not dropping by only.
About your question on commenting, i have experimented it and seems to work on technorati. i seem to increase two knots everytme i have time to comment on big blogs. when i started with it (i registered 3 or 4 days ago), i had already a 30 authority...thanks to my hobby of reading other blogs and commenting to them. Then i started to hunt for ig blogs and made 'relevant comments' and i grew 34. The other day, i had free time to make few comments again and i became 36 with authority.
As for your question regarding PR, it is posted with the PR maintenance and improvement post that i have. Yes, if one has good PR AND has similar theme to yours AND you make relevant comments, your PR will grow but PR is something that is being built with a bit of time investment.
